Covering: the Book, Single Courses, Platform Subscriptions, and the Mentorship Program

Last updated: 23 September 2026

1. About These Terms

1.1  These are the terms and conditions on which we supply our products to you, whether you order through our website, a linked funnel or checkout page, or otherwise. Please read them carefully before you order.

1.2  By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to them, you must not order any product from us.

1.3  We may update these terms from time to time, in accordance with clause 16.

2. Who We Are

2.1  We are Taking Control Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17306910, with our registered office at Sheldon House, Sheep Street, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire, CV36 4AF, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Taking Control”).

2.2  Our books, courses, membership platform and educational content are published under the Taking Control brand and, where indicated, under our imprint, Introspect Publishing.

2.3  You can contact us using the details in clause 18.

3. Our Products

3.1  We sell the following types of product (each a “Product”):

•  the Book — physical print titles published under our Introspect Publishing imprint, including Taking Control: Body. Mind. Soul. (“the Book”);

•  Single Courses — individual, one-off digital courses and pre-recorded lecture content, purchased as a single order and providing ongoing access to that course once purchased (“Single Courses”);

•  Platform Subscriptions — recurring, auto-renewing subscriptions providing access to the courses and content within one or more of our Body, Mind and Soul pillars, or to our Complete Membership across all three (“Subscriptions”); and

•  the Mentorship Program — our year-long, cohort-based coaching and education programme (“the Mentorship”).

3.2  Each Product type is subject to the general terms in this document and to the specific terms set out for that Product type in clauses 6 to 9.

4. How a Contract Is Formed

4.1  Our checkout pages explain how to place an order. You will be able to review your order and correct any errors before you submit it.

4.2  Submitting an order is an offer by you to purchase a Product. We accept your offer, and a binding contract is formed, when we confirm your order (for example, by email or an on-screen confirmation) or, if earlier, when we give you access to a digital Product or dispatch a physical Product.

4.3  We may decline any order at our discretion, for example if a Product is no longer available, if we suspect fraud, or if we cannot obtain payment authorisation. If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.

5. Prices and Payment

5.1  Prices are as shown at checkout at the time you order, in pounds sterling (GBP), inclusive of any VAT that applies.

5.2  We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.

5.3  Payment is taken through our third-party payment processor at the time you place your order (for one-off Products), or on the recurring billing date (for Subscriptions, and for the Mentorship if paid by instalments). You must provide accurate, current payment details and keep them up to date.

5.4  If a payment fails or is declined, we may suspend or restrict your access to the relevant Product until payment is successfully taken.

6. The Book

6.1  Book orders are delivered to the address you provide at checkout. Any delivery or publication timescale shown at checkout is an estimate only, and not a guaranteed date.

6.2  Where the Book is offered for pre-order, we will fulfil your order once the title has been printed and is ready for dispatch. We will keep you informed of any significant delay.

6.3  Risk in the Book passes to you on delivery. Title (ownership) passes to you once we have received payment in full.

6.4  Your right to cancel a Book order is set out in clause 10.

7. Single Courses

7.1  A Single Course is purchased as a one-off order. Once payment is confirmed, you will be given access to that course through our member platform.

7.2  Access to a Single Course you have bought outright is provided for as long as we continue to make that course available on our platform. We will give reasonable notice if we intend to permanently withdraw a course you have purchased.

7.3  Single Courses are digital content supplied other than on a tangible medium. Your right to cancel is affected by this, as set out in clause 10.

8. Platform Subscriptions

8.1  A Subscription provides ongoing access to the courses and content within the relevant pillar (or, for the Complete Membership, all three pillars) for as long as your Subscription remains active and paid up.

8.2  Subscriptions renew automatically and are billed monthly in advance until you cancel in accordance with clause 8.4.

8.3  We may change the content included within a Subscription, and may vary its price on renewal, by giving you at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect under clause 8.4.

8.4  You may cancel a Subscription at any time, from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; we do not refund the unused portion of a current period, except where required by law or set out in clause 10.

8.5  If you cancel, or your Subscription lapses due to failed payment, your access to that Subscription's content ends at the end of the paid period. This does not affect any Single Courses you have separately bought outright.

9. The Mentorship Program

9.1  The Mentorship is a 12-month, cohort-based programme comprising weekly live calls and associated content and support, as described on the Mentorship sales page at the time you enrol.

9.2  The Mentorship fee is £3,495 for the 12-month programme, payable in full, in advance, at the time of enrolment, unless we have agreed a different payment schedule with you in writing.

9.3  The Mentorship fee is non-refundable once your right to cancel under clause 10 has ended or been waived. Your place on the Mentorship is reserved for you personally on enrolment and is not transferable to another person without our agreement.

9.4  Live sessions take place on the dates published to your cohort. We do not offer make-up sessions, credit, or carry-over for sessions you miss, whatever the reason for your absence. Where we make recordings available, they remain accessible for the rest of your Mentorship term.

9.5  Clauses 9.3 and 9.4 reflect our intention that the Mentorship is sold on a committed, non-refundable, non-cancellable basis once it has begun. This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights under clause 10, or any right you have if we fail to provide the Mentorship with reasonable care and skill under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Your Right to Cancel

10.1  If you are a consumer ordering from us online or by phone (a distance contract), the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 normally give you a 14-day cooling-off period in which you can cancel for any reason. How this applies depends on the type of Product, as set out below.

10.2  The Book (physical goods). You may cancel your order for the Book within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive it, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us using the details in clause 18. If you cancel after the Book has been dispatched, you must return it to us at your own cost, in the condition you received it, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving it back.

10.3  Single Courses and Subscriptions (digital content). Digital content is an exception under the 2013 Regulations: once you begin to access or download a Single Course, or your Subscription content becomes available to you, you lose the right to cancel, provided you expressly requested early access and acknowledged, at the point of purchase, that you would lose this right once access began. If you would rather keep this right, you can wait until the 14-day period has passed before accessing the content, and cancel for a full refund in the meantime by contacting us.

10.4  The Mentorship (a service). You have the same 14-day cooling-off period. If you ask us to begin the Mentorship (for example, by attending a live session) within those 14 days, you expressly agree that we may do so, and you acknowledge that: (a) if you cancel during the 14 days after the Mentorship has started, you will pay for the proportion of the service already provided up to the point you told us you were cancelling; and (b) once the 14-day period has ended, or the Mentorship has been fully performed, whichever is sooner, your right to cancel ends and clause 9.3 applies.

10.5  To exercise any right to cancel under this clause 10, you must tell us clearly, for example by email, before the relevant deadline. We may ask you to complete a cancellation form, but using one is not compulsory.

10.6  Nothing in this clause 10 affects your other statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if a Product is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill.

11. Access, Your Account and Acceptable Use

11.1  Where a Product is provided through our online platform, you will need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account.

11.2  Access to our courses, Subscriptions and Mentorship content is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not share your account, resell, redistribute, publicly perform, or otherwise make our content available to anyone who has not purchased it.

11.3  We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached clause 11.2, without affecting our other rights.

12. Health, Fitness and Educational Content

12.1  Our Products relate to physical training, nutrition, and personal, psychological and reflective development. They are educational in nature and are not a substitute for individualised medical, psychological, nutritional or other professional advice.

12.2  You should consult a doctor or other qualified professional before starting any new exercise, nutrition or wellbeing programme, particularly if you have a pre-existing health condition, injury or concern, including before taking our Cardiovascular Improvements or Reducing Blood Pressure courses.

12.3  You are responsible for exercising your own judgement about what is appropriate for you, and for stopping any activity that causes pain, dizziness or discomfort.

13. Intellectual Property

13.1  All content within our Products, including the Book, course videos, written materials, our frameworks (including the Taking Control Body/Mind/Soul framework and the A.R.T. methodology), and our branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

13.2  Purchasing a Product gives you a personal licence to use that content in accordance with clause 11.2. It does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights to you.

14. Our Liability

14.1  We provide our Products with reasonable care and skill. If we fail to do so, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Product, except as set out in clause 14.3.

14.2  We are not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us at the time the contract was formed, or for any loss not caused by our breach.

14.3  Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

14.4  We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

15. Complaints

15.1  If you are unhappy with a Product or with our service, please contact us using the details in clause 18 so we can try to resolve it.

15.2  If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, and you are a consumer, you may be able to refer the matter to alternative dispute resolution. We will provide details of a relevant scheme if this applies at the time.

16. Changes to These Terms

16.1  We may revise these terms from time to time, including to reflect changes in the law, in our Products, or in how we operate. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

16.2  If we make a material change to the terms of an active Subscription or the Mentorship, we will give you reasonable notice in accordance with clauses 8.3 and 9 before the change takes effect.

17. General

17.1  If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.

17.2  These terms, and any contract between us, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

17.3  A person who is not a party to a contract between us has no right to enforce any of its terms.

17.4  We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. This will not affect your rights under them.
